AQUAPARTNER LTD worked in a Consortium with IBERINSA – Spain, ILF Betarende Ingenieure ZTGmbH – Austria and Gabinete Hispanico de Ingenieria – Spain – The implemented by Aquapartner works are the following:
Lot 1:
Preparation of a Master Plan, Preliminary Design Report and Detailed Design for the Water Supply and Sewerage Network of Smolian;
Water supply network – 45 km, reconstruction of 15 water retention tank, 15 pumping station and SCADA system;
Sewerage
The sewerage system of Smolyan is mixed. The design included replacement of 10 515 meters of Ø300- Ø400 mm of the existing sewers network in 7 districts due to very high infiltration; design of the extension of the sewerage network in two districts with length of 5 120 meters of new sewers with diameters of Ø300- Ø800
Preparation of Tender Documents according to the Bulgarian Procurement Law for the Works Tendering procedure of the Water Supply and Sewerage Network of Smolian;
Lot 2
Supervision of the Construction Works of the Water Supply and Sewerage Network of Smolian. Provision of the services of "the Engineer" as specified in the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction (Red Book): Provision of a Deputy Resident Engineer for Works Supervision and provision of Short-term Experts.
The networks were put in operation in August 2011
Lot 3
Supervision of the Construction Works of the Waste Water Treatment Plant of Smolian – 55 550 PE. Provision of the services of "the Engineer" as specified in the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Plant and Design-Build (Yellow Book): Provision of Deputy Resident Engineer for Works Supervision, provision of Short-term Experts, review of Contractor's Design and preparation of Reports for Compliance.
